Plantar warts, or warts on the feet, are very common, especially here in Palm Beach County. Warts are caused by a virus. The virus is easily spread through any small opening in the skin. The wart virus can easily be spread in a locker room, pool decks, or even at home in a family bathroom. Although warts do sometimes resolve on their own, warts on the feet can cause pain.
